Robert began investing during his college years and has never stopped. After Lucky's closed his store in 2003, he briefly worked as a loan officer, gaining invaluable insight into the mortgage industry. In 2004, he obtained his California Real Estate License and founded what would become the Hightower Real Estate Group.

With over 20 years in real estate, Robert has witnessed and navigated multiple market cycles—including the dramatic bubble expansion and burst of the mid-2000s. This experience taught him invaluable lessons about sustainable homeownership and conservative investing principles that he now shares with his clients.

Robert is an active real estate investor himself, owning and managing properties across three Northern California counties. This hands-on experience means he truly understands the challenges and opportunities facing homebuyers and investors alike. He has personally been through the process many times and knows what it takes to close a deal successfully.

Throughout his career, Robert has worked extensively with first-time homebuyers, helping them navigate the complex journey to their first set of keys. He has also managed dozens of REO (bank-owned) properties and short sales, learning effective negotiation techniques and marketing strategies directly from major financial institutions.
